Happy Thanksgiving!
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday yesterday! Don't you just love this time of year? It's my favorite. Thanksgiving is a nice opportunity for us to think about all of the many blessings that we have in our lives. We have so much to be thankful for. Have a happy and safe holiday season! Oh, and for those of you brave enough to try and do some shopping today, good luck! I think Eliza and I will just stay in and snack on leftovers. Yum!

Rivalry Week
This is the one of the best weeks of the year. Not because of Thanksgiving but because of the BYU Utah game. It will be even better when BYU stomps Yewtah this year on there way to an undefeated conference record. I can't wait. Has it really been a year since the last game? In case you missed it, watch the video above.

Look who's one!!
Eliza had her first birthday today! We had the party at my parents house since our 2 bedroom condo would have allowed only about three other people to attend. We had so much fun! Eliza got such nice presents from her family. She got lots of books which she loves and also some toys and new pajamas. She also had her first experience eating chocolate cake and ice cream! See, she hardly made a mess at all! However, just a few seconds after we took this picture, she dumped her whole plate on the floor. Sorry grandma!
This past year having Eliza as part of our family has been full of joy and love. We feel so grateful that Heavenly Father blessed us with such a sweet, happy, and loving little girl. We love you Eliza! Happy birthday!!

Why did the chicken cross the road?
To go trick-or-treating, of course! Even though I'm pretty sure Eliza was a little unclear on the concept of Halloween we had a great time. We went to our ward trunk-or-treat where mom and dad got a pretty good supply of candy. Let's be honest, that's really the only reason why people take their young children trick-or-treating. Eliza had a fun time with all her cousins and we had a fun time seeing those cute kids in their costumes. Hope you all had a good Halloween too!
