Today Jackson went to class for the 5th time. First one was bad. Second one was worse. Third and fourth were pretty much the same. He cries the minute we pulled into the parking lot. BUT today when we picked him up, his teacher said he only cried for about 20 seconds and was fine the rest of the time! What?? I pointed to Jackson and made sure we were talking about the same kid. I was so relieved to hear how well he had done! I wonder if the progress will transfer over to nursery. Probably not...I'll just focus on one issue at a time. I am so proud of him for being brave in school. Now I'm just worried that he's going to end up doing so well in this class then it will end and we'll have to start over from scratch when he goes to a new preschool.
I am so thankful for good teachers who know what they're doing. I really think this class and his preschool will make all the difference in the world for him. I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Next up is potty training and moving him to a big boy bed. Oh, and trashing the binky. I know...it should have been done already but we're trying to not overwhelm him with changes. Love that boy.
